This was a brilliant trip that was recommended by Australian friends who had been with this group a few months earlier. They enjoyed that this cruise was limited to 25 people, and the tour guide was good at bringing everyone together. So, we had high expectations and were not disappointed.

Tony was an amazing guide, and the whole crew welcomed us with open arms and took care of every little detail. This was so much more than just a cruise: in just over a day, we had SO many different experiences and all thanks to Tony, who gave us the chance to discover his culture from a much more local and authentic perspective, far from the usual touristy spots. If you’re looking for something different, I’d 100% recommend this over the classic, super-touristy routes.

Great, guide and crew were very good, always helpful and there if we needed things done or wanted bits. The activities were good, be prepared for it to be decently crowded at some of the spots but that can’t be helped if you’re seeing Ha Long Bay. The views are amazing, the food was great and the evening was fun with karaoke, drinks and time on the top deck with the rest of the passengers. Rooms are comfy with good working air con and bathrooms. We read reviews and what’s included so we were prepared but be warned that drinks (even bottled water) aren’t included so we just brought some big wat

the whole tour was an amazing experience. Food was excellent. Beds comfortable. Kayaking in the bay was amazing. Really enjoyed the bike ride to the village and the foot pedicure! Tony was the perfect guide right from the start. Great communication, kept things on time and even helped set up our transport to Ninh Binh the following day.

We LOVED this cruise. Amazing staff, tour guide and beautiful room. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended. Steven was a brilliant host, spoke great English and was a lot of fun. Barman stayed up with us until the early hours while we drank and sang karaoke. Thanks for an amazing couple of days.

It was a lot of fun 🤩 The cruise was very talking and beautiful . We tried squid fishing, canoe, swimming and even jumping from the boat as well as cooking class and even karaoke The only thing I would say is there was no hot water in our room but apart from that it was great Unless you specifically request it though if you are travelling solo you will be assigned a shared room

The accommodation was good overall, but our real highlights were the kayaking tour, jumping into the sea straight from the boat, and the bike tour. Those experiences made our stay truly special. The food was absolutely outstanding — every meal was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent tour! Our guide, Jack, was absolutely great! The food in the boat was amazing. We did kayaking, swimming and biking, and we had some time to rest and enjoy the bay. We recommend this tour!

Everything was great, better than expected. Our guides, Tony & Thang were attentive and informative. The transportation to and from the boat was efficient and comfortable, and the boat and entire journey from the meals to the kayaking, swimming and bicycling opportunities were extra special. The smaller boat with 15 passengers was intimate and peaceful. The other passengers from France, Norway and the Czech Republic were also friendly and very interesting. Highly recommended.

Nam and Victor were fantastic guides and crew members to have leading this trip. It was a perfect balance of activities and relaxation in Lan Ha Bay & Cat Ba island— much less touristy than Ha Long and much more enjoyable!
