Cuc-Phuong-Park: Dschungelwanderung, Tagestour in kleiner Gruppe in Hanoi

What a funny, instructive and awesome day! My partner and I will forever remember this excursion with Viet, our knowledgeable and super friendly guide, and the people we met. We couldn’t be happier, really. Transportation was smooth, we got loads of explanation in the monkey sanctuary, and in the cave. Lunch was really good and the hike was a great adventure to finish the day! Go ahead and book this tour, but also also remember the importance of wearing long pants and long sleeves to protect yourself from the leeches and mosquitoes.

Really nice experience. Interesting to see the primate rescue center and learn about their work to save and protect endangered animals. Our guide Danny did a great job to ensure a great experience for all in our group.

On the whole, it was a good day. The visit to the Monkey sanctuary was very informative and it was great to hear how the centre rescues and rehabilitates the Gibbons before releasing them back into the wild. The jungle covers a huge area and it is also a sanctuary for the released Gibbons. During our jungle walk, we could hear them unfortunately we couldn’t see them living out in the wild, but that is also a good sign that they have adapted to their wild environment after being in the sanctuary. We enjoyed the walk through the jungle, although advertised as 3 km, it is actually only a mile lon

Tour was really enjoyable and didn’t feel overly exerting. The guide was really informative, funny, and helpful, and there was loads of good, interesting food for lunch.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour, largely thanks to our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating stories and facts throughout the whole trip – you could tell he was truly passionate about what he does. We left feeling like we’d learned so much more than we expected. Would 100% recommend booking a tour with Huyen!

Tha activity was great. Our guide, Viet, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot information about the nature, the protection of the nature, how to react with animals but also about history of Vietnam. We could see that he loved his job and the nature. The hike in the jungle was entertaining and beautiful.

Great tour to Cuc Phuong. It was well paced, spending a good amount of time at each site and not feeling rushed. Our guide, Viet, was excellent and really made the tour. He was very knowledgeable about the Primate Rescue centre and the various species, the history of the ancient cave and the forest, and shared a host of other interesting tidbits throughout.

Trop chouette et intéressant de visiter le centre. On voit plein d espèces de singes différentes, plus petite marche dans la jungle. C était sympa.

Misleading pricing ruined an otherwise enjoyable tour. The tour cost $21, but upon arriving at Cuc Phuong National Park, the guide collected an additional 300,000 VND per person. The official park website lists the entrance fee as only 60,000 VND, yet no explanation or breakdown was provided for the extra charges. This isn’t about the money—it’s about honesty and transparency. I felt misled. I know this company doesn’t represent all Vietnamese businesses, but I recommend future travelers confirm all extra fees before booking.
