Cycling through Mai Chau in the afternoon was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The quiet roads and beautiful landscapes made it incredibly relaxing. As we rode along, we had the chance to meet several local residents. Everyone we encountered was kind, friendly, and welcoming. It made us feel instantly comfortable and connected. It was a 3 day tour. Day 2 and Day 3 were amazing, while Day 1 was just acceptably bad. Day 2 & 3 we had big group of people with a lot of activities and just for these two days I think it was worth it. Accommodation at Ecolodge was also amazing, beautiful views and delicious food. My biggest complaint is day one. First day was only me and my guide (different than day 2 and 3), which I don’t mind, but my guide in Mai Chau was 40 minutes late without any information. If you’re looking for a place similar to Sapa, I highly recommend visiting Pu Luong. The landscapes here are just as beautiful, with rice terraces, mountains, and peaceful villages. What makes Pu Luong special is that it feels more untouched and less crowded than Sapa. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, perfect for travelers who want to enjoy nature and local life. Another big advantage is that Pu Luong is closer to Hanoi, so getting there is much easier and faster. Overall, it’s a wonderful destination for anyone who loves nature and authentic experiences.

L’activité en elle-même est top et vaut vraiment le détour. Nous avons eu Thû en guide pour Mai Chau et Eddy pour Pu Luong et les deux ont été à la hauteur de nos attentes, même plus. Vraiment très bien accueilli par ces deux guides qui connaissent parfaitement leur région et apportent des points de culture très intéressant à la visite.
