Dies ist ein 2,5-stündiges Erlebnis in Hanoi. Wir halten Ihren Platz beim Anbieter, bevor wir Ihre Buchung als endgültig behandeln.
Hanoi ist tausend Jahre alt und zugleich eine französische Kolonialhauptstadt, beides auf einmal: die 36 Gassen der Altstadt, jede nach der Zunft benannt, die dort handelte, der See des zurückgegebenen Schwertes in ihrer Mitte, der Literaturtempel von 1070, das Mausoleum, in dem Ho Chi Minh aufgebahrt liegt (nur vormittags, montags und freitags geschlossen sowie zwei Monate im Herbst), und das baumbestandene französische Viertel mit seinen Villen und dem Opernhaus. Die Cafés der Train Street, wo die Bahn einen Meter neben den Tischen vorbeifährt, öffnen und schließen, je nachdem, wie die Behörden gerade entscheiden. Der Eierkaffee wurde hier 1946 erfunden, bun cha ist das Mittagessen, und das Wasserpuppentheater am See ist der Abend. Von Dezember bis Februar ist Hanoi kühl und grau, von Mai bis September heiß; Oktober und November sind die besten Monate.

The whole experience of watching the Blacksmith at work. it was amazing . something different than ever done before.
Lovely experience from the car ride through the mayhem that is Hanoi traffic onwards. We picked the style of knife we wanted to make and then walked to the Smithy next to the family's home. They are 3rd generation blacksmiths in the village with 40 years experience. The blades we selected were already cut to their crude shape and the smith heated them in the forge and we helped hammer them to shape, he very skillfully moved the metal so that the hammer blows shaped the metal properly. This was such an incredible experience which I would 1000% recommend to anyone! Tung (3rd gen. Master Blacksmith) and his family took such great care of us, and guided us with their skill to make two beautiful knives that we get to take home and remember this forever! It is such a fascinating process, involving such intricate attention and diligence - but we were still able to be guided and contribute to making our knives in a safe way. It was a good experience. Really nice to see the traditionel way of knife making by a master blacksmith. Hoang Tung is a lovely man and guides you carefully through the process. Only thing that was missing, was some kind of an introduction and some more information at the place there, because we felt a little bit lost some times.
