We had an amazing tour with V. He taught us a lot about the Vietnamese (food) culture and it felt like a trip with a friend. Good food in multiple spots that we wouldn’t have picked out on our own. Recommend!

I was impressed with the communication prior to the tour and during the tour. Chloe was excellent! She walked at a pace that suited me. Chloe explained the dishes I ate at the many diverse places. I really enjoyed the egg coffee even though I didn’t want it at first. Best ever! We ate at many different places a variety of sweet and savoury dishes. All were very good. I explained the only thing I wouldn’t eat was innards. Not a problem. We ended at the train street where we had a drink and experienced the train. Great!

Anya was a great guide, very interesting and engaging. Great variety of dishes on offer, just make sure you come hungry. Everything was really well explained. I loved doing the evening tour as it meant it was that little bit cooler for nipping around the city. Definitely a top tour in Hanoi!

We had a wonderful walk through the old town, visiting several cafes and restaurants. Our guide and Anh, her assistant Lyn were excellent. They were knowledgeable, informative, engaging and made the evening very special. We learnt so much about food in Hanoi and how important it is to the culture. A wonderful evening. Highly recommended.

By far my favorite experience in Hanoi!! Chloe was absolutely amazing— so knowledgeable of the Hanoi Old Quarter history and food culture. Learning about the ingredients, preparation, ways of eating, and everything small detail about the food that you wouldn’t normally think about made the tour so special and impactful for me.
