Had a fantastic evening with Nam on the Walking Street Food Tour in the Ex-Mafia District + Skyline Bar. Since he was born and raised there, the stories felt authentic and gave great insight into local life. Exploring the hidden alleys on foot allowed us to slow down, absorb the local atmosphere, and see things you would completely miss from a vehicle. Our guide shared stories about the old mafia days right where they actually happened. Every single food stop was packed with authentic flavors. We ate where the locals eat, far away from the usual tourist spots.

This was probably one of the best trips we have done. started a little unexpected as Nam and Tram turned up on Mopeds. It hadn't entered our heads they would be picking us on them, But..... The Moped ride probably added to the fun. For one of us this was the first time on the back of a bike. Nam and Tram were excellent and we felt very safe even through Ho Chin Minh city traffic.
