Hoi An ist ein Handelshafen, den der Thu-Bon-Fluss im 19. Jahrhundert verlanden ließ, und genau deshalb blieb die Altstadt aus chinesischen Ladenhäusern, Versammlungshallen, der japanischen überdachten Brücke und ockergelb getünchten Kaufmannshäusern so vollständig erhalten, dass sie 1999 UNESCO-Welterbe wurde. Die Altstadt ist den größten Teil des Tages für Motorräder gesperrt, abends von Seidenlaternen beleuchtet und am vollsten beim Laternenfest zum Vollmond in jedem Mondmonat. Ringsum: das Gemüsedorf Tra Que, die Wasserkokos-Kanäle von Cam Thanh mit ihren runden Korbbooten, das Töpferdorf Thanh Ha, der Strand von An Bang und, 40 Kilometer landeinwärts, die Cham-Tempelruinen von My Son, am besten um 7:00 Uhr vor den Reisebussen. Die Stadt ist außerdem Vietnams Schneiderhauptstadt; ein Anzug dauert 24 Stunden.

The activity was great. The guide was really Informative and had a great sense of humor. The coconut boat driver we had was also very fun and happy. The cooking class itself was a lot of fun. The recipes were good an easy to access once the course was done. Would recommend to family and friends
Great cooking lesson although not sure I could recreate the dishes! the boat ride was lovely through the trees and we learnt a fair bit about the local fruit and veg at the market. A fun tour and well worth doing.
Excellent cooking class! Guide was so lovely and explained everything. We were collected and dropped door to door. We made SO much good food (4 dishes) and the coconut boats were a great experience.
This was so fun! We started with a market tour and got a chance to try some of the local fruits/veggies, went on a boat ride + did crab fishing through a coconut forrest, and finished by learning how to prepare four delicious Vietnamese dishes. Our guide, Flower, was a great host and did a great job walking us through each experience. Would highly recommend this for anything looking for a cool cultural experience in Hoi An.
The lady who taught us the cooking side of things was so funny and lovely! Then the coconut boat paddler that we have was absolutely crackers in the best way, reslly made it memorable for us!

Our guide was kind, even buying people in the group rain ponchos when it was raining outside. Enjoyed the cooking class and the dishes prepared - lots of food & memories made!
It was a really great experience. The teacher was incredible and even though there was a little mix up with my name on the tour list for the day, they went above and beyond to make it feel like I was appreciated and cared about on this tour. 15/10
It was excellent if I had a chance to do it again I would skip the coconut boat ride , it wasn’t what I expect . Seem as if space was needed to fill / wasted time fishing for small crab even though so many us ask to go back .

This was one of my favorite activities we did in Vietnam. The chef was great and explained everything well. I’m vegetarian and they provide great alternatives for the dishes, the food turned out amazing. I’ll definitely be recommending to my friends and family!
Activities were excellent, extremely fun, and very informational. The boat tour was great and the cooking class was the best!
