Taking a day trip from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh was an experience not to be missed! The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda were breathtaking—the architecture is stunning and the compound offers a surprisingly peaceful escape from the city bustle. In contrast, our visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum was incredibly moving; seeing a former school transformed into a prison is a somber but necessary part of understanding Cambodia's history. We also loved Wat Phnom, where we learned the legend of 'Lady Penh' and how the city got its name. We wrapped up with a traditional Cambodian lunch that was
