Un recorrido de dia completo desde Siem Reap que visita Krong Battambang.
Battambang es la segunda ciudad de Camboya y la mas tranquila de todas, un pueblo junto al rio con casas de estilo frances, a unas tres horas de Siem Reap. El tren de bambu, el norry, es una plataforma de bambu sobre ruedas impulsada por un pequeño motor sobre una via unica; cuando dos se encuentran, el mas ligero se levanta de los rieles a mano. La linea original en O Dambong fue reemplazada por una via turistica construida a proposito en Banan. Al anochecer, millones de murcielagos de labios arrugados salen en torrente de una cueva en el acantilado de Phnom Sampeau durante unos treinta minutos en una cinta ininterrumpida, y la misma colina alberga un memorial de la cueva de la muerte de los anos de los jemeres rojos.

Vatthana was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide - we had a brilliant afternoon with him discovering Battambang and getting to see the many bars leaving the cave. If you’re looking to do a tour with anybody then I would highly recommend him!

The day trip was absolutely amazing. Jay our driver and guide could not have been better He has so much information to share and was also a lot of fun. amazing time with our guide J. his english was flawless, and he filled the tour with humour, personal experience, and great knowledge. i really liked the history overview he gave us, providing us with all the information and answering all our questions. we were able to see all the great sights of Battambang, and he timed it so well too. i really recommend this tour. they are not as well known as other tours in the area but just as good, if not better. it was just us two on the tour which made the experience so incredible and unforgettable. thanks!

A fantastic way to know Battambang, its surroundings and name’s origin. A 10/10 to our guide who explained everything clearly and took us all day to the places we have to see in his confortable tuk tuk. I will recommend him to everyone who comes to Cambodia.
We had a great half day tour in Battambang and really enjoyed the whole experience. Everything was very well organized and structured, but at the same time flexible and relaxed. We were picked up by tuk-tuk and first learned about the history of the city. Then we drove through local villages, learned about fruits and vegetation, crossed a hanging bridge, enjoyed the bamboo train and even tried local specialties. Visiting the caves and watching the bats fly out was definitely a highlight. Our guide was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We can absolutely recommend this tour to anyo

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon trip with Vatthana, he is a really safe driver and very knowledgable about the local area. The ride on the bamboo train was a bit of a tourist trap at the end of the line with people pushing to sell souvenirs but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless. Watching the bats leave the cave at dusk was a real highlight for me and a perfect end to the day.
