El Tonle Sap es el lago de agua dulce mas grande del sudeste asiatico e invierte su direccion dos veces al ano: en el monzon el Mekong empuja el agua de vuelta hacia el rio Tonle Sap y el lago se hincha varias veces su tamano, para luego drenar de nuevo a partir de noviembre. Los pueblos que viven en el se adaptan a eso. Las casas sobre pilotes de Kampong Phluk se elevan de seis a diez metros sobre sus patas, secas por debajo en marzo y a la altura de los tobillos en octubre; Kampong Khleang es mas grande, mas alejado y mucho menos visitado; Chong Kneas es el mas cercano a Siem Reap y el mas turistico. Que pueblo funciona, y si el barco puede siquiera llegar al bosque inundado, depende por completo del mes.

Praim was an amazing guide! He messaged us the night before to confirm the details, arrived on time and was a great resource. He answered all our questions and gave us some historical info about Cambodia. We had great weather in Beng Melea and he took a bunch of photos for us and was very patient pointing out significant facts. We had 2 kids - aged 9 and 6 with us and he catered the info to keep them engaged. The floating village tour was a huge highlight. Would highly recommend this tour!

Praim Is best tour guide for our tour tò Beng Melea Temple, Rolois group Temples and Kompong Phluk fishing and floating Village. we enjoyes the tour with him and all' history of each Temple he provided.
