Esta es una experiencia de 3 horas desde Siem Reap, centrada en Tuk tuk y Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm Temple. El amanecer en Angkor Wat se observa desde el borde del estanque reflectante norte, donde las cinco torres se elevan en negro contra el cielo y luego se duplican en el agua. La taquilla abre a las 04:30 y Angkor Wat deja entrar a la gente desde las 05:00, por eso los tours salen de Siem Reap hacia las 04:30 para veinte minutos de trayecto; el cielo se colorea antes de que el sol despeje las torres, asi que llegar con las primeras luces ya es tarde para lo mejor. La temporada seca de noviembre a marzo ofrece los cielos mas limpios, mientras que las lluvias traen nubes que pueden arruinar el amanecer o hacerlo aun mejor. El borde del estanque se llena pronto, el estanque sur suele ser mas tranquilo, y un guia que sabe de que lado situarse marca la diferencia entre una fotografia y una pared de telefonos en alto.

One of the main reasons we came to Cambodia for and it did not disappoint. Our Tourguide, Naga was extremely knowledgeable not only about the main temples, but also a few of the smaller ones that we went too. Providing detailed explanations to a lot of our questions and describing the architecture of the landmarks. the private tour in a car was great, which provided for a nicer experience in humid weather.

We travelled to Siem Reap mainly to see the Angkor temples, and booking a private tuk tuk with a guide was the best choice to be able to take our time and avoid large tour groups. Our guide, Tay, spoke excellent English and shared so much interesting information about the temples we visited and the history of Cambodia. Tay was very thoughtful throughout the day, with cold water, wet towels and a great spot for lunch between temples. We also really appreciated Tay’s warning about the monkeys in the temples. The next day we saw another hotel guest badly bandaged after a monkey attack, which show
