El trafico de Siem Reap es ligero segun los estandares regionales, y el trayecto desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Siem Reap Angkor, inaugurado en 2023 a unos 40 kilometros al este de la ciudad, ahora tarda alrededor de 45 minutos en lugar de los diez minutos que tardaba el antiguo aeropuerto. Dentro de la ciudad, el tuk-tuk es la forma habitual de moverse, y un coche privado es la opcion habitual para los circuitos de templos, donde el dia implica largos intervalos entre paradas con un calor que se situa alrededor de los treinta y cinco grados de marzo a mayo. Los conductores esperan en los templos en lugar de marcharse, por lo que un coche de dia completo se alquila por dia, no por trayecto.

We were collected ahead of time by our driver & had a lovely chat to him at the beginning of our trip then later we felt comfortable enough to get some sleep.
