Esta es una experiencia de 3 horas en Siem Reap, centrada en Siem Reap y Made in Cambodia Market and ភូមិនំបញ្ចុក Phum Num Banh Chok. La comida jemer es mas suave que la tailandesa y mas acida que la vietnamita, basada en el prahok, pasta de pescado fermentado, y en el kroeung, una pasta de citronela, galanga, curcuma y lima kaffir machacada fresca. El plato que todos aprenden es el amok de pescado, un curry de coco cocido al vapor en una copa de hoja de platano hasta que cuaja como un flan; el lok lak, carne de res sellada con pimienta y salsa de lima y pimienta, es el otro. La pimienta de Kampot, de origen protegido, aparece en ambos. Las clases suelen empezar en un mercado, donde el guia le muestra el pescado fermentado, el azucar de palma y el pescado de rio antes de cocinar nada.

our guide Sartha was a great guide on this foody tour. she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and took time to explain the culture of the foods we were going to eat and including the ingredients and also how to eat them. We had so many lovely dishes and each were delicious in their own individual ways so I simply could not pick a favourite. we ended the nite with a cool beer and hand crafted gin plus Cambodian deserts and insects which I really liked. This tour was the absolute best. Sarath is hilarious and knows so much, will answer any question you throw at her, and made our night a complete joy. Our driver was also a delight. All the dishes and locations were terrific, and I felt like we got to try a wide variety and really experience the city. No notes, would recommend to anybody with a curious mind and palate.
excellent value for money. you get so much food so think twice about eating before you start! our guide August was passionate about Cambodia, not just food but history culture and ways to help the country and it's people be successful. Definitely worth money and time!! warning: you will be very very full afterwards! and the food is all delicious
Our amazing guide, Manith (Need), was knowledgeable and fun. Can't believe I ate frog! It was great to try the local eating places. Definitely recommend this tour. The tuk tuk was fun way to get around and the food was well- prepared and delicious. (Lots of different things to try- even for those less adventurous)

This tour was a great introduction to the area. Sarath was a great and friendly tour guide who explained all the food and how they make the dishes. She was able to explain where the dishes come from, how they are grown and how the locals like to eat it. She was fun and knowledgeable and easy to talk to talk with. We visited 7 different places and had so much amazing food. 10/10 I would recommend booking with her.
