Angkor Wat fue construido en la primera mitad del siglo 12 por Suryavarman II como templo hindu dedicado a Vishnu, mas tarde convertido al uso budista, y es el monumento religioso mas grande del mundo con aproximadamente 162 hectareas dentro de su foso. A diferencia de casi todos los demas templos jemeres, mira hacia el oeste. What a fantastic way of exploring this amazing place, not only exploring the temples by foot but enjoying cycling through the forest in between, with stop for fresh coconut and snacks on the way. Mr Young was a fabulous guide-warm, knowledgeable and an absolutely lovely person-I cannot recommend him highly enough. I am so glad I chose this way to seeing Angkor Wat. Thank you!!
A really amazing experience. The bike provided was virtually brand new and in excellent condition, the communication was very good and my guide, Mr Young, was wonderful. He was very very knowledgeable, kind, funny and seeing the sites of and around Angkor Wat whilst escaping the crowds was an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this tour.
