Una experiencia de 1 dia en Siem Reap. El operador lo resume asi: salir de la ciudad por el camino habitual a traves de la campina.

Los templos alejados requieren medio dia o un dia completo de trayecto y lo recompensan con su vacio. Beng Mealea, a unos 60 kilometros al este, es un templo del siglo 12 de la escala de Angkor Wat dejado en gran parte sin despejar, cruzado por pasarelas sobre galerias derrumbadas. Koh Ker, a dos horas al noreste, fue brevemente la capital en el siglo 10 y alberga el Prasat Thom, una piramide de arenisca de siete niveles de 36 metros de altura que se puede subir por una escalera de madera. Sambor Prei Kuk, declarado por la UNESCO en 2017, es mas antiguo que el propio Angkor, torres de ladrillo preangkorianas en pie en el bosque. Algunos de estos sitios tienen su propia entrada separada, ademas del Angkor Pass.

We had an excellent tour with John. He took us to several temples in the Ko Ker complex. Definitely worth the long drive. And having a comfy AC mini van was an absolute gem! We also went to Beng Maelea. This is another temple outside of Siem Reap definitely worth the drive. Seeing both of these in 1 day was doable. More would have been too much. We highly recommend John our driver!!
