Esta es una experiencia de 5 horas desde Ubud, organizada en torno a Mount Batur. Su plaza se reserva con el operador antes de considerar su reserva definitiva.
El monte Batur es un volcan activo de 1.717 metros que se alza dentro de una caldera mucho mas antigua, con el lago Batur en su fondo. Las caminatas al amanecer salen desde Toya Bungkah, en la orilla del lago, ascienden durante unas dos horas sobre arena volcanica y roca suelta, y buscan llegar al borde hacia las 5:30, ya que el sol sale entre las 6:00 y las 6:30 segun el mes, detras del cono del monte Agung al este. En la cumbre, antes del amanecer, suele haber entre 8 y 12 grados C con viento, por lo que una capa realmente abrigada importa mas que cualquier otra cosa que lleve. El trekking se organiza a traves de la asociacion local del pueblo, por eso cada tour, incluido el nuestro, viene con un guia, y la mayoria de las mananas terminan en las aguas termales de la orilla del lago. Las versiones en jeep y ATV suben hasta un mirador en el flanco del volcan para el mismo amanecer y evitan la subida a pie, lo cual es la opcion adecuada para las rodillas, los ninos pequenos y cualquiera que no haya dormido bien. En la temporada de lluvias, de noviembre a marzo, la cima suele estar entre nubes al amanecer y no hay reembolso por el clima.
El precio incluye Recogida y traslado al hotel si se selecciona la opcion, entrada para Kintamani, si se reserva con traslado y agua mineral. No incluye Gastos personales y propinas opcionales, cuente con ese gasto aparte. So worth the super early start. Both my transfer driver (Nyoman Wiguna) and jeep driver/guide (Komang Adipta) were amazing! Both made our experience feel very safe, very friendly and always there to help when needed. Nothing was too much for the both of them. Not only were they attentive, the pictures taken were incredible, so professional! Couldn't have asked for a better team to make our morning as special as it was. The breakfast was light and simple, but was all that was needed for the occasion. Nyoman was very kind when we got to the hot springs, ensuring us to take as long as we'd like.
pick up 3.15 am my driver Nyoman was on time and very friendly. he brougt us to near by Batur and than we got into the jeep. also very nice driver. jeep took about 20 minutes to get up, half way the Mountain. (not to the top). there are a lot of jeeps!! we waithed about one hour to see the sunrise. beautiful. it is colder up there, you can by blanket to hire 100 idr. you get your little breakfest. nice. then the jeep bring you to lava. nice. then de jeep drops you off at warm water springs ..so good!! then after 90 min the taxidriver brought us home again.. very beautiful trip!!
We had an amazing experience from start to finish! Our driver Yoga was absolutely wonderful. He was super friendly, kind and we had such great conversations with him throughout the day. We really enjoyed spending the day with him and he made the whole experience even more special. Our Jeep driver Dedik was also fantastic! He drove very safely and professionally and was incredibly helpful. Had a really good experience with Ari on the Mount Batur trip! He took care of everything till the base point, and we had some really good conversations along the way. He even dropped me back near my hostel after the trip, which was really nice of him. The Jeep driver was also super cool and honestly felt like a professional photographer 😂—he knew all the best spots and clicked some great pictures. Overall, a really fun and smooth experience!

Our driver Dedy picked us up early in the morning and brought us safe and sound to the jeep pickup point at mount batur. From there we went on an amazing drive up to the mountain in a 4x4 to catch the sunrise. Overall it was a magical and romantic experience and we felt taken care of from start to finish. Ps: don't forget to bring warm clothing's as in the morning it gets quite cold.
