Esta es una experiencia de 1 hora desde Ubud, organizada en torno a Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Su plaza se reserva con el operador antes de considerar su reserva definitiva.
El Bosque Sagrado de los Monos de Padangtegal, en el borde sur de la ciudad de Ubud, tiene unas 12 hectareas de bosque con aproximadamente mil macacos de cola larga y tres templos que datan del siglo catorce. Los monos son salvajes y estan acostumbrados a la gente, una combinacion que cuesta a los visitantes gafas de sol, botellas de agua y cualquier cosa comestible todos los dias; la regla es no llevar nada suelto, evitar el contacto visual con un mono que lo este mirando fijamente, y nunca tocar a ninguno. El bosque abre a las 9:00 y la ultima hora antes del cierre es la mas tranquila. Los templos del interior son templos activos y solo entran los devotos.
El precio incluye entrada al santuario del Bosque Sagrado de los Monos, Guia y agua mineral. No incluye Comida y bebidas y Propinas, cuente con ese gasto aparte. Todo lo incluido figura al completo en esta pagina; si algo no aparece en esa lista, da por hecho que no entra en el precio.

I had a great time with Dek Gus. He provided lots of interesting information about Bali culture, the monkeys and the history behind the sanctuary. He was very kind and accommodating! The grounds are huge so I’d definitely recommend the tour for the ease of getting around and being aware of monkey behaviour.
This was an incredible experience from beginning to end! I genuinely loved this tour, and Ketut Artawa made it even more special. He was warm, respectful, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable about Balinese culture and traditions. What impressed me most was the way he shared his knowledge. He explained the history, customs, beliefs, and traditions so clearly and beautifully, making every place we visited much more meaningful. He had an answer to every question I asked and was always happy to share more. Ketut was also considerate, attentive, and easy to talk to, creating such a pleasant atm

Dek Gus was amazing during our tour! Very knowledgeable about the history of the forest and culture and was able to answer lots of questions we had about the forest, monkeys, culture, trees, statues, temples, and ceremonies. Definitely a worth while experience!
