Esta es una experiencia de 2 horas desde Ubud, organizada en torno a Tegalalang. Su plaza se reserva con el operador antes de considerar su reserva definitiva.
Las terrazas de arroz de Tegallalang estan a veinte minutos al norte de Ubud, en la carretera hacia Kintamani, y son arrozales en activo alimentados por el sistema de riego subak, declarado por la UNESCO en 2012. Antes de las 8:30 de la manana aproximadamente, el valle pertenece a los agricultores, los campos todavia estan humedos por la noche, y hace el fresco suficiente para caminar por las terrazas y subir por el otro lado. Hacia las diez llegan los autobuses del sur y la carretera sobre las terrazas se convierte en una fila de cafeterias, columpios y plataformas para fotos. Hay una pequena tarifa de entrada en el mirador, y agricultores a lo largo de los senderos entre los campos piden unos pocos miles de rupias por cruzar su terreno, lo cual es normal. overall I had a good experience. I did not know the swing and rice fields were two different stops. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee tasting at the swing attraction. then we went out to the rice field. our guide was patient and very hospital. Ari explained things in detial and also found some really nice photo spots for us.
I had a wonderful tour with Manu. Walking through the rice terrace fields early in the morning was such a special and refreshing experience. Manu was kind, respectful, and made me feel completely comfortable as a solo female traveller. He also helped me take some great photos, and we had great conversations on the road. My friends and I had a great day exploring the Kumulilir coffee plantation and Tegalalang rice terrace. Our tour guide walked us through the process of growing/processing both coffee and rice, showing us some of the traditional methods. A coffee/tea tasting was included — offering a great opportunity to try the different flavours.
