Esta es una experiencia de 2 horas en Uluwatu. Su plaza se reserva con el operador antes de considerar su reserva definitiva.

Las playas de la peninsula de Bukit alrededor de Uluwatu son caletas bajo acantilados de piedra caliza, a las que se llega por escalones, y cada una se comporta de forma distinta con la marea. Padang Padang es pequena, resguardada y se llena rapido; Bingin es una franja estrecha bajo warungs construidos en el acantilado; Suluban es la entrada de la cueva hacia la zona de surf de Uluwatu y casi desaparece con la marea alta; Melasti es una playa larga y abierta con una carretera que baja hasta ella. El surf aqui es de arrecife para surfistas experimentados, con la izquierda de Padang Padang entubando en las marejadas de julio y agosto, y Dreamland la unica rompiente de fondo arenoso apta para clases. La marea baja deja al descubierto el arrecife y es el momento para las pozas de roca, no para nadar.

The surfing was so fun me and my girlfriend both loved it! The instructors were kind and knowledgeable. At the end of the day we were riding the waves and having a great time, well worth the time and money. We very much recommend.

If the lesson is at Batu Bolong, Kuta, Legian or Seminyak, yes: those beaches break slowly over sand and every school teaches there. The Uluwatu reefs are not for learning. Board, rash vest and an instructor in the water with you are included; bring sunscreen for the backs of your legs.
