Hakone es el balneario termal en las montañas a 90 minutos al suroeste de Tokio, dentro de la caldera de un antiguo volcán. El circuito estándar es el teleférico de Hakone sobre las fumarolas de azufre de Owakudani, donde los huevos se cuecen negros en las fuentes termales, un bote a través del lago Ashi pasando por el torii rojo del santuario de Hakone, y, en un día claro, el Fuji sobre el lago. Excellent tour guide, Masa San. Fortunately, we had great weather to see Mount Fuji and the Hakone open air museum. Overall, it was an excellent tour.

We had an awesome day with Hiro-san. He met us as planned with a sign. We saw all the sites. He had all the transportation arranged. The area is beautiful! Hiro-san was so personable. Not only did he tell us about the area but answered many questions we had about Japanese life. Also, he took us to a delicious restaurant where we could see them making their own soba noodles. Thank you Hiro!

We had a wonderful tour with Yoshei. A very informative guide and we navigated seven different types of transportation to see all the beautiful sites of Hakone. He was extremely kind and certainly knew the region well. Arrange for us to have a wonderful authentic Japanese lunch. I would definitely recommend a tour in Hakone as there are many different sites all connected with the Hakone pass, but the average tourist would have a difficult time navigating the labyrinth of transportation.

My guide Yumi was amazing! she picked me and dropped me at my hotel. She prepared a tour plan with activities based on themes I provided her. We also stopped for lunch at a good restaurant on our way that she suggeated. Yumi was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and Japanese traditions. We were able to go through the whole program. Even, were there was a bus delay, she managed to find an alternative toute to bring back to my hotel. I would recommend her.

The price does not cover transportation fees, entrance fees, lunch, and other personal expenses, private vehicle, guide entry fees are only covered for sights listed under what to expect. and you cannot combine multiple tour groups.. Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
Nobody can promise it. Fuji is clear on roughly a third of days, most often on winter mornings, and from June to September it is in cloud more often than not. The tour runs regardless and the lakes, the pagoda and the ropeway are planned to be worth the day without the summit. There is no refund for cloud.
We confirm your booking with the operator before we treat it as final, and we need at least one day's notice. Once it is confirmed you get the meeting point, the time and a contact number for the day. If the operator cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
