Leo was a super guide. He never rushed us and happily let us stay longer at Himeji Castle because we were so fascinated. He also took us up the Mt. Shosha ropeway – a quiet spot he suggested for sunset and night views over the city. It was stunning. Yes. Hotel pickup in Mount Fuji. JRT Group confirms your pickup time and the exact spot once the booking is in. The collection window is usually a little wider than a fixed minute, because the driver is working a route around several hotels.
The price does not cover attraction tickets (e.g., lake ashi cruise, hakone ropeway), meals and personal expenses and airport, seaport, or train station pick-up/drop-off (not provided). Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
Nobody can promise it. Fuji is clear on roughly a third of days, most often on winter mornings, and from June to September it is in cloud more often than not. The tour runs regardless and the lakes, the pagoda and the ropeway are planned to be worth the day without the summit. There is no refund for cloud.
