I had a wonderful cooking experience with Yuko. She walked us through the steps to make a delicious Miso Ramen. I am so excited to take the recipe back home and to try it on my own. I highly recommend this class for anyone traveling to Nagoya.

We had such a lovely time with Michiyo-san and Emi-san. They talked us through the different stages of cooking and explained everything clearly as we worked to create and then eat our own Miso Ramen.

The lesson was awesome! Our two teachers, Yuko and Chinatsu, were absolutely lovely! They walked us though every step of the process to make a delicious ramen we walked away with a copy of the recipe and recommendations on the specific misos to look for in local stores so that we can recreate this dish at home. I highly recommend this experience!!

Both Mikito & Michiyo were very personable and made us feel very comfortable right from the start of our time together.

Preguntas frecuentes

The price does not cover transportation to the venue. Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
Yes, if you tell us when you book rather than on the day. Dashi, the fish stock, is in almost everything, so vegetarian and vegan need to be named specifically and the host will plan a kombu-based version. Halal-certified restaurants exist in the big cities but are fewer, so say so early.
We confirm your booking with the operator before we treat it as final, and we need at least one day's notice. Once it is confirmed you get the meeting point, the time and a contact number for the day. If the operator cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
