La cupula de Jean Nouvel se asienta deliberadamente sobre el agua, y sus instalaciones exteriores llegan hasta el mar. Desde un kayak pasa por debajo y alrededor de ellas a la altura de los ojos, lo bastante cerca para ver como esta ensamblada la celosia, mientras los visitantes del museo estan dentro mirando hacia usted.
El agua aqui es plana y resguardada, por lo que no se necesita experiencia. Un guia dirige en todo momento y marca el ritmo.
Se incluyen chalecos salvavidas, bolsas impermeables y un briefing de seguridad, y hay una estacion de recarga de agua en lugar de agua embotellada, asi que traiga una botella que pueda rellenar.
Aviso: dos cosas que conviene planificar. El Louvre Abu Dhabi cierra los lunes; el remo no se ve afectado pero si quiere ambos, evite un lunes. Y entre junio y septiembre tome el horario mas temprano o mas tardio disponible, una hora en aguas abiertas bajo el sol de mediodia de Abu Dhabi es mas duro de lo que suena, y no hay sombra alli.
Mejor en cualquiera de los extremos del dia, cuando la luz atraviesa la cupula en angulo en lugar de directamente desde arriba.

It was great to see the Louvre from the water. It provides a completely different perspective, very unique. Make sure to bring a change of clothes, you will be wet as some water runs through the seat. We were guided by Shakil and Waseem. Both seem very professional and well aware of the museum and the construction of it.
Really relaxing and unique experience! I did the 7:30 am tour so the whole area was really quiet but cool to get up close into the Lourve and also to enjoy the sunrise! Would recommend!

Amazing experience to see the museum by kayak, learning about the architecture and history. Bonus was seeing the sunset and beautiful Abu Dhabi skyline throughout. Note the waters can get choppy as you go around, expect to put in quite a bit of effort. Although once you’re within the vicinity of the museum it’s easy and relaxing. The team were friendly and helpful, there an area for you to change and they provide a waterproof bag for your phones should you wish to take photos. All in all, good experience, recommended. On this occasion it was just us and the guide. Gem of an activity to round off your trip to the Louvre

Amazing guide. All the staff at the Louvre are very nice.
Great value for money. Ramshat really took his time when paddling around the Louvre, letting us enjoy it as much as we could. We booked a 5 PM slot, and only were 5 people, making it a truly relaxing experience. Can highly recommend!
