teamLab es el colectivo de Tokio que hace arte en el que se entra en lugar de mirarlo, y Phenomena es su museo de Abu Dhabi en la isla de Saadiyat: un espacio construido a medida en el distrito cultural junto al Louvre.
Las obras aqui son ambientales en lugar de proyectadas: instalaciones que responden a corrientes de aire, agua, temperatura y la presencia de las personas que se mueven por ellas, por lo que no hay dos visitas que produzcan lo mismo y nada esta en bucle. Algunas salas se vadean, de otras se esta rodeado, y el limite entre una obra y la siguiente es deliberadamente confuso.
Cosas practicas que mejoran la visita. Use algo con lo que pueda moverse y zapatos que se quiten facilmente, porque varias salas se entran descalzo. Algunos suelos estan mojados y algunos espacios son oscuros con terreno irregular, zapatos planos, no tacones. Y los suelos de espejo son una caracteristica de este tipo de obra, asi que las faldas y vestidos conviene pensarlos con antelacion.
El almacenamiento gratuito en casillero y el aparcamiento estan incluidos con la entrada.
Reserve al menos dos horas. La gente suele planear una hora y quedarse tres.

It was an incredible experience, and I’ll be honest it exceeded my expectations, I had such a fun time! But also I’d like to mention how friendly and attentive the staff are I cannot say one bad thing about them. There was one particular member of staff, apologies I didn’t catch the name that explained everything to me and even offered to take pictures and videos of me in the first room. Thank you again for an amazing experience!
