Unos noventa paises en pabellones repartidos por un unico recinto, cada uno vendiendo su propia comida, artesania y textiles, con atracciones de feria, espectaculos de riesgo y un programa de escenario durante toda la noche.
Es en parte expo cultural, en parte mercado nocturno, en parte feria, y es donde los residentes de Dubai realmente van una noche de fin de semana, lo que lo convierte en un publico muy distinto al de los centros comerciales y los beach clubs.
La comida es la razon para venir con hambre. Cada pabellon cocina la suya, y la variedad, desde pan afgano hasta parrilladas filipinas y dulces turcos, no se encuentra en ningun otro lugar de la ciudad a estos precios.
El traslado al hotel esta incluido, lo cual merece la pena: Global Village esta en Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, el aparcamiento es caotico un fin de semana, y los taxis a la hora de cierre son una batalla.
Aviso: es estacional y cierra en verano. La temporada va aproximadamente de octubre a abril y el recinto cierra por completo durante los meses mas calurosos. Las fechas cambian cada ano. Si su viaje es entre mayo y septiembre, esto no esta disponible; diganos sus fechas y confirmaremos antes de pagar.
Vaya un dia de semana por la tarde si puede. Los fines de semana estan muy concurridos.

Had a great time at Global Village. I was picked up from my hotel by Liaqat Ali from 360 Adventures. He was kind and friendly from the beginning of the trip and gave us instructions on where to meet him when the time came to be picked up and taken back to the hotel. I unfortunately came out at the wrong entrance but Liaqat was very patient and helpful in guiding me back to the right entrance and pick up spot. Thanks to him my overall visit to Global Village turned out to be an enjoyable, adventurous and memorable experience!!!
