El safari vespertino es el que casi todos hacen en su primer viaje a Dubai, y se lo merece. Un 4x4 lo recoge de su hotel por la tarde, desinfla los neumaticos al borde de las dunas rojas de Al Lahbab, y pasa media hora atravesandolas, la parte para la que uno se prepara y luego pide repetir.
Despues de las dunas, el ritmo cambia por completo. Se detiene para el atardecer, que sobre arena roja ocurre rapido y merece tener la camara lista, luego continua al campamento: un breve paseo en camello, sandboarding por una duna, cafe arabe y datiles, henna, y una barbacoa bajo las luces con un espectaculo de Tanoura y danza del vientre.
Dos cosas practicas. El dune bashing es realmente movido, si alguien en su grupo esta embarazada, tiene problemas de espalda o cuello, o se marea, diganlo al reservar y el conductor tomara una ruta mas suave. Y traiga una capa de abrigo: el desierto pierde su calor en el momento en que se pone el sol, y quienes vinieron en pantalones cortos se arrepienten para las nueve.
La recogida es desde cualquier lugar del centro de Dubai y el vehiculo tiene aire acondicionado durante todo el recorrido. El cuatrimoto es un complemento en lugar de parte del tour base, elijalo en la etapa de opciones si lo quiere.
