Da Nang es la ciudad de la costa central, treinta kilómetros de playa desde la península de Son Tra hasta las Montañas de Mármol, y el punto de partida de las excursiones del centro de Vietnam. Ba Na Hills, 40 kilómetros al oeste, es una estación de montaña francesa reconstruida como parque temático a 1.400 metros, a la que se llega por uno de los teleféricos más largos del mundo, con el Puente Dorado sostenido por dos manos de piedra gigantes; ve temprano, hace fresco y hay gente. Las Montañas de Mármol son cinco cerros calcáreos de cuevas y pagodas con vistas a la costa. Son Tra tiene la Dama Buda de 67 metros y los últimos langures de muslos rojos. El paso de Hai Van, la carretera hacia el norte rumbo a Hue, es el trayecto más bonito del país, en moto o en coche y con paradas en los viejos búnkeres franceses y estadounidenses de la cima.

This was the best activity we did whilst in Da Nang. It was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back to do it again! Our host was one of the best people we met in Vietnam. He really took care of us, putting in tremendous effort to show us all the hidden gems on Da Nang. Every selection of the tour was impeccable. Nhan (our tour guide), gave us the most amazing bike ride experience in the beautiful countryside around the base of the hills near Da Nang. The swimming spot in the cool stream along with fresh fruit and the lunch stop at a restaurant was 5 star. We used the e-bikes which made the 30km bike ride very easy. An unforgettable experience and highly recommended.

We did the Danang Countryside Bike Tour and loved it! I used an e-bike and my husband used a regular bike. It was so nice to have a day in the beautiful countryside after so much city time we have had on this trip. There are beautiful rice fields and farmland that we biked through. We were up close with cows, water buffalo, roosters, chickens, dogs and more. It was great to be in nature and see a local village. The scenery is very akin to Hawaii. We went on a bike tour in Da Nang and were picked up at the hotel on time. Our guide, Nhân, was very friendly and told us a lot about the local culture and life. The lunch break also left a very good impression of the local cuisine. The food was delicious. Nhân was very attentive to our needs. The route was mostly flat and led through beautiful natural scenery outside the city—far away from traffic. The break by a stream was particularly refreshing and relaxing. We’ve joined cycling tours in many countries, and this was by far the best. Our guide, Lam, was outstanding—kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. He shared interesting insights about the Vietnamese countryside, which made the experience even better. The bikes were high-quality Giant bikes and well maintained. The route went through quiet countryside with very little traffic, and the scenery was beautiful throughout. Swimming in a cool stream after cycling in the heat was a highlight (restroom available), and fresh fruits were provided. Lunch at a countryside-view restaurant was fantastic
Es war perfekt! Der Guide war wirklich humorvoll und wusste viel über das Land, die Menschen, die Sprache. Es war die beste Führung die ich in Vietnam hatte. Das Fahrrad war sehr sicher und modern - ganz neu. Die Tour ist auch für jemand mit wenig sportlicher Affinität gut zu meistern! Wir haben eine Pause am Fluss gemacht. Der Guide hatte frisches leckeres Obst dabei. Danach ging es weiter - durch die Reisfelder und kleine Dörfer. Wunderschön! Anschließend ging es zum Mittagessen - sooo lecker!
