Hanói tiene mil años y es a la vez una capital colonial francesa, las dos cosas al mismo tiempo: las 36 calles del Barrio Antiguo, cada una con el nombre del gremio que comerciaba allí, el lago de la Espada Restituida en su centro, el Templo de la Literatura de 1070, el mausoleo donde yace expuesto Ho Chi Minh (solo por las mañanas, cerrado lunes y viernes y dos meses cada otoño) y el barrio francés arbolado, de villas y Ópera. Los cafés de la Train Street, donde el tren pasa a un metro de las mesas, abren y cierran según cambian de opinión las autoridades. El café al huevo se inventó aquí en 1946, el bun cha es la comida y el teatro de marionetas de agua junto al lago es el plan de la noche. Hanói está fresca y gris de diciembre a febrero y calurosa de mayo a septiembre; octubre y noviembre son los meses.

It was really cool seeing the endangered primates. We also had a really big hike through the jungle. It's a real hike through the jungle so dress appropriately. I took off 1 star because they didn't return me back to my hotel. They said because of the weekend & holiday I had to be dropped off elsewhere. Also be prepared for a long ride & multiple vehicle transfers. Overall I had fun & met some cool adventures. Also the food was delicious 😋.
