Dos horas y media pintando su propio non la, el sombrero cónico vietnamita, con un artista que trabaja en inglés.

El sombrero en sí es la primera sorpresa. Se pinta con acrílico sobre la superficie de la hoja, que se comporta de otro modo que el papel: la hoja tiene fibra y curva, así que los trazos tiran, y el instructor le hace empezar en una zona pequeña para coger el tacto antes de comprometerse con toda la superficie.

No se espera experiencia en dibujo. La mayoría trabaja a partir de un motivo tradicional, loto, dragón, una calle de Hoi An, y el artista lo plantea con usted.

Se facilita un delantal y hay agua potable, porque dos horas y media inclinado sobre un sombrero en Saigón es trabajo caluroso.

A pleasant activity, but it’s a pity that no real guidance is provided. You are given a hat, some paint, and sample designs, but the “workshop” stops there - you’re left to manage on your own with the brushes. It’s disappointing.
