Los túneles de Cu Chi, 60 kilómetros al noroeste de Ciudad Ho Chi Minh, son una red de 250 kilómetros excavada por el Vietcong desde los años cuarenta y usada durante toda la guerra de Vietnam como vivienda, hospital, cocina y vía de entrada hasta la propia Saigón; el distrito fue bombardeado en alfombra y defoliado sin llegar nunca a ser despejado. Hay dos recintos abiertos, Ben Dinh (más cerca, más concurrido) y Ben Duoc (el original, más tranquilo, con un templo conmemorativo); los dos muestran las trampillas, las trampas, un tramo ensanchado de túnel que se puede recorrer a gatas entre 20 y 100 metros, y un campo de tiro cuyas ráfagas de AK-47 se oyen en todo el recinto. Las excursiones de medio día salen por la mañana y por la tarde, a menudo en lancha rápida por el río Saigón, y suelen combinarse con el Mekong o con la ciudad.

it was a great afternoon trip, although we didnt realise how far away it was! I thought the entire tour would be English but Tina had to speak both in Vietnamese and English to quite a large group, so it took longer to address both English and Vietnamese groups probably the only negative, as when we booked, it just said English. great history and cool to go through tunnels
Der Guide war sehr pünktlich. Wir wurden im Bus bereits sehr gut unterrichtet zur Geschichte. Er hat verständlich gesprochen und zu seinen Erzählungen Bilder am Tablet gezeigt. Ein gelungener Tag.

Tour guide was amazing. However , we paid for the 12:30 pick up - 5 hour trip. We pre paid £40 for 2 of us. They picked us up around 1:15 and said we had to pay them 200,000 dong from picking us up from the hotel. Which said was included in the price. We stopped in places for over an hour - that we weren’t made aware was part of the tour, trying to sell us stuff. It took us 4 hours to get to the tunnels. We spent around 1 hour in the actual tunnels. We then didn’t get back until 8pm - which was now an 8 hour trip and our plans for that night had been ruined. Wouldn’t bother unless you have the
Der Zwischenstop damit wir essen und Kunst kaufen hat uns nicht gefallen. Die Tour war lehrreich jedoch nur sehr wenig echte Tunnel.
