Hoi An es un puerto comercial que el río Thu Bon colmató en el siglo XIX, y por eso su casco antiguo de casas-tienda chinas, salas de congregación, el puente cubierto japonés y casas de comerciantes encaladas en ocre llegó intacto hasta su declaración como sitio UNESCO en 1999. El casco antiguo está cerrado a las motos buena parte del día, iluminado con farolillos de seda por la noche, y más concurrido en la fiesta de los farolillos de luna llena de cada mes lunar. Alrededor: la aldea hortícola de Tra Que, los canales de cocoteros de agua de Cam Thanh con sus barcas redondas de cestería, la aldea alfarera de Thanh Ha, la playa de An Bang y, a 40 kilómetros hacia el interior, las ruinas cham de My Son, mejor a las 7:00 antes de que lleguen los autocares. El pueblo es además la capital vietnamita de la sastrería a medida; un traje tarda 24 horas.

We booked an afternoon tour the night before and we couldn’t be more grateful for Henni’s wonderful tour! We were lucky enough that it was only the 2 of us, so we took things at our own pace, stopping for water breaks during long bike rides when needed. Henni took care of us and made the scary Vietnamese traffic surprisingly easy to navigate through. She also helped to take lots of photos and videos which was lovely. From watering vegetables, duck massages, riding the buffalo and the coconut basket boat, we had an incredibly fun day and I would highly recommend if you think of doing this – sup
Amazing!!! Well planned, our guide (Danny) was so kind and helpful with our children! He answered all our questions!! He was easy to follow while biking, making sure we were always close to him. I would suggest this tour for anyone!! One of our kids fav so far!!

Uyen was a very good guide! We had a tour of the rice fields, garden and met the buffalo man for a good photo op and quick ride! She took me to the Duck farm and i got to play ducj leader! She was a wonderful host and her English is very good! 10/10 would reccomend!
We had a good day together with our guide Wu. He explained a lot about the earlier years in Hoi an and how the people here used to live as fishermen and farmers.
I don't typically write reviews, but our tour guide, Tham, made our visit to Tra Que Vegetable Village, the buffalo ride, and the coconut basket boat ride truly unforgettable. She took the time to explain the history of each place and taught us about rice farming and local life. We even had the opportunity to experience how farmers traditionally irrigated the rice fields. She also shared the unique bond between water buffalo and their owners, explaining how essential they are to farming. For those interested, there was even an opportunity to ride a water buffalo. Our tour was amazing. The lady who showed us around had great English and was very knowledgeable about the local culture. She took pictures of us and explained everything all the way through the tour. We will be back next year with our children and will be doing the same tour. Highly recommended!!!
