Hoi An es un puerto comercial que el río Thu Bon colmató en el siglo XIX, y por eso su casco antiguo de casas-tienda chinas, salas de congregación, el puente cubierto japonés y casas de comerciantes encaladas en ocre llegó intacto hasta su declaración como sitio UNESCO en 1999. El casco antiguo está cerrado a las motos buena parte del día, iluminado con farolillos de seda por la noche, y más concurrido en la fiesta de los farolillos de luna llena de cada mes lunar. Alrededor: la aldea hortícola de Tra Que, los canales de cocoteros de agua de Cam Thanh con sus barcas redondas de cestería, la aldea alfarera de Thanh Ha, la playa de An Bang y, a 40 kilómetros hacia el interior, las ruinas cham de My Son, mejor a las 7:00 antes de que lleguen los autocares. El pueblo es además la capital vietnamita de la sastrería a medida; un traje tarda 24 horas.

Such an amazing experience! More food than I could eat and a fabulous way to explore the back streets of Hoi An. You could tell that Sam was just as passionate about educating his patrons about the various cultural aspects related to the tasting experience and well as promoting local business and their families. Can’t recommend this enough, it was awesome. Thank you! X
Wow! We walked down many backstreets and sampled various street foods, small restaurant specialities and even foods prepared in people’s homes. We tried things we would likely not have on our own and at places we may not have ventured into. Our guide, Man, was knowledgeable about food, the area and history. We also had To along on the tour, learning the ropes of tour guiding. He was also friendly and easy to talk with. About 3km walk but broken up between 7 locations so doesn’t seem far.
Quin was a very informational tour guide, we really enjoyed the tour and food!
Absolutely amazing night. Our guide Q took us to several "restaurants" we never would have visited by ourselves, but the food was out of this world. A day after we even went back to one of the spots to eat there again. Great portions too, not just quick bites. Would recommend to everybody visiting Hoi An.

Quin was a very friendly local foodie and a knowledgeable guide, who took us to some great restaurants that I never would have come across. She knew so much history of both the food and the restaurants, which made for an immersive, educational and most importantly, delicious tour!
This one is definitely recommended! Our tourguide Sonny was very nice and friendly. He could tell a lot about the local food and other interesting facts about Vietnamese culture. We went to 8 different local places and tastes 12 different dishes. We’re very full at the end, so it’s definitely worth the money.
This was a fantastic tour hosted by our guide Man. Man adeptly navigated our party of 3s very specific and varied food requirements. He took us to some amazing food options off the tourist track.
