Le An Lacquer studio was so peaceful! I really enjoyed learning about the difference between lacquers and then getting to make my own picture using lacquer & egg shells. Lien was a great teacher that made the whole process feel so easy.

This was definitely a highlight of my trip. I was completely immersed in the world of lacquer art; the history, the techniques and the artistry. I made a beautiful piece that I am proud to hang on my wall. I have learnt a lot in the sessions and I look forward to purchasing some supplies to continue working in this medium at home.
