Nous avons pris la prestation intermédiaire, sur les trois proposées Les hôtels et la cabine de bateau étaient d'excellente qualité, et les repas prévus au programme d'un bon niveau. L'interlocutrice de l'agence était d'une réactivité remarquable à chacune de nos questions. Seul petit bémol : la qualité des bus couchette, surtout celui de l'aller vers le Sapa, peu confortable

The price does not cover cable car tickets to fansipan peak (~35 usd/ticket), drinks, tip and personal insurance. Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
The harbour authority halts all sailings in storms, mostly July to September. If your date is cancelled you are moved to the next day or refunded in full; the operator tells you the evening before. Bring a light jacket on deck between November and March, when the bay is cool and misty.
