Sa Pa está a 1.600 metros en las montañas Hoang Lien, cerca de la frontera china: una estación de montaña francesa de los años veinte que hoy es la base para hacer trekking por los valles en terrazas de las aldeas hmong, dao y giay. La caminata clásica baja desde el pueblo por Cat Cat o Y Linh Ho hasta Lao Chai y Ta Van, a lo largo del valle de Muong Hoa, de cinco a seis horas, con comida en una casa del pueblo y, en la versión de dos días, noche en un homestay; la mayoría de los trekkings los guían mujeres hmong de la zona, y los senderos quedan embarrados después de la lluvia. El Fansipan, el pico más alto de Indochina con 3.143 metros, se sube en 15 minutos de teleférico o en dos días a pie. Las terrazas están inundadas y como espejos en mayo y junio, y doradas en septiembre; de diciembre a febrero hace frío, hay niebla a menudo y de vez en cuando nieva. El mercado dominical de Bac Ha, a dos horas, es el gran mercado de los hmong de las flores.
El precio incluye guía, almuerzo, entrada al parque nacional de Hoang Lien, botella de agua de 1,5 litros y transporte. No incluye teleférico opcional, gastos que surjan, propinas y nota: después de reservar el tour, así que cuenta con ese gasto aparte. Todo lo incluido figura al completo en esta página; si algo no aparece en esa lista, da por hecho que no entra en el precio.
El punto de encuentro y la hora se envían por correo en cuanto se confirma la reserva. Necesitamos al menos un día de antelación y confirmamos la fecha antes de dar la reserva por definitiva. Si no se puede confirmar la fecha, te lo decimos y te devolvemos el importe en lugar de dejarte esperando.

Binh was an amazing guide. Even though we were absolute beginners in hiking. Binh was very patient and tried his best to let us have a great time during the hike. Turns out the 2 of us and Binh were in the same age group so it was just a vibe. Would love to reattempt this climb again on another day when we are more experienced. Hopefully faith would bring both Binh and us together again to conquer fansipan once more.
The hike to Fansipan was challenging, but absolutely worth it. Our guide was amazing very patient, friendly, and always adjusted the pace to suit our group. Along the way, we stopped for a delicious bowl of traditional Vietnamese pho, which was a great break during the climb. The guide also shared interesting information about the local vegetation and showed us plants growing in the area, including cardamom. The hike to Fansipan was amazing. Sun and Du were amazing guides - very kind. The hike definetely requires some level of fitness, but the views and experience is totally worth it. I choosed to hike both up and down, and had the best day. We also had a really nice group, which made the hike even better.

Binh was a patient and kind tour guide. Carried snacks and our lunch and went ahead and made lunch for us so it was ready when we got to camp. We were quite slow (took 8.5 hours to get to the top) though it was raining— he was patient all the way and explained some things along the way. Recommend for people who love hiking! The views were not available to us due to weather but the journey was beautiful and when we went not many people, so many times felt like we had the whole forest to ourselves :). The hike was truly beautiful. As you climb higher, you slowly walk into the clouds until everything around you is wrapped in soft mist - it feels almost magical. It was an incredible experience. Our guide was wonderful and spoke very good English, which made it easy to ask questions. He shared many interesting stories about the local culture, making the journey even more meaningful. The food was also very good.

The one-day Fansipan trek was one of my highlights of Vietnam so far. The views are absolutely stunning (thankfully we had great weather) and the trek itself was very enjoyable but challenging - it took us about 9 hours to reach the top and go back down. All facilitated by our friendly and cheerful guide Bihn who carried and prepared lunch for the group at 2800m high. Thanks!!
Mama May is an absolute gem. I had amazing type B fun trekking up and down Fansipan. The views were stellar, Mama May kept the energy and motivation fun even during the strenuous parts, and lunch and snacks were delicious. Thank you for the best adventure. It was incredible.

The whole experience was great but Bao our guide was especially brilliant he was so helpful and gave me solid technique's to climb and go down the mountain. Bao gave out snacks to everyone in the group and made sure everyone was okay. overall a brilliant experience the man (Boa) needs a pay rise as well brilliant guy. 👍👍👍
The trip was so much fun, Took us around 11 hours including lunch time, to climb up and down was honestly super challenging physically for me but was so so worth it , The hike through and up to fansipan then also the hike down the mountain was super beautiful, in which I took lots of pictures. I Highly recommend booking this guide , he’s super friendly and knowledgeable, speaks great English, and I personally would book again.
