Sa Pa está a 1.600 metros en las montañas Hoang Lien, cerca de la frontera china: una estación de montaña francesa de los años veinte que hoy es la base para hacer trekking por los valles en terrazas de las aldeas hmong, dao y giay. La caminata clásica baja desde el pueblo por Cat Cat o Y Linh Ho hasta Lao Chai y Ta Van, a lo largo del valle de Muong Hoa, de cinco a seis horas, con comida en una casa del pueblo y, en la versión de dos días, noche en un homestay; la mayoría de los trekkings los guían mujeres hmong de la zona, y los senderos quedan embarrados después de la lluvia. El Fansipan, el pico más alto de Indochina con 3.143 metros, se sube en 15 minutos de teleférico o en dos días a pie. Las terrazas están inundadas y como espejos en mayo y junio, y doradas en septiembre; de diciembre a febrero hace frío, hay niebla a menudo y de vez en cuando nieva. El mercado dominical de Bac Ha, a dos horas, es el gran mercado de los hmong de las flores.

The 2days 1 night trekking experience was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Mu, was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful—she explained everything so clearly and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. We got to explore the village up close, and thanks to Mu’s stories and explanations, we could really imagine what daily life is like for the villagers in Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Ta Van And Giang Ta Chai. It made the experience feel so much more meaningful and authentic. I highly, highly recommend this to everyone—it’s an unforgettable experience!
I did the 2 Days trekking and stay in a bungalow tour with a group and had a fantastic experience. Our guide Vu was exceptional, she knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole journey through the rice terraces and villages feel authentic and special. She explained the culture and history of the local communities beautifully and kept a great pace throughout. The scenery was breathtaking and the meal was delicious. Highly recommend this tour and specifically ask for Vu as your guide, she is outstanding!
I had a wonderful trip. Su was our tour guide, and she enthusiastically introduced us to the Hmong and Zay villages we trekked through. I stayed in a lovely little bungalow, just enough for my privacy. Dinner at the homestay was fantastic, and I especially loved the spring rolls made by a local woman in the family.

The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful rice terraces, mountains, and peaceful villages along the way. I also loved learning about the local culture and meeting kind local people. The trek was enjoyable and suitable for all fitness levels, with plenty of time to rest and take photos. The food and homestay were also great. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sa Pa. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience with this trekking tour in Sa Pa! Everything was well organized from start to finish. The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable during the trek. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We walked through beautiful rice terraces, peaceful villages, and stunning mountain views that looked like a postcard. It was also a great chance to learn more about the local culture and meet kind local people along the way. The trekking route was enjoyable and suitable for beginners as well as experienced hikers. T
I had a really enjoyable 2-day, 1-night trip, meeting local people. Our guide told me that the Hmong people here are very poor, they only grow rice once a year. They were very friendly and helped me through the difficult parts of the journey! I highly recommend this trip
The trip was fantastic, I highly appreciate it. The bungalow wứa small but provided complete privacy, the dinner was great, and the English-speaking guide was enthusiastic and helpful.
