En las montañas del norte de Vietnam viven más de 20 grupos étnicos, y caminar de aldea en aldea durmiendo en la casa de madera sobre pilotes de una familia es la gran experiencia senderista del país: los valles hmong y dao alrededor de Sa Pa, las aldeas tay sobre pilotes de Mai Chau y Pu Luong, los arrozales en terrazas de Mu Cang Chai y los valles kársticos de Ha Giang. Los trekkings van de medio día a una semana, guiados por mujeres de la zona que hablan las lenguas de las aldeas, con las comidas que cocina la familia anfitriona. We had the best time! It was a cozy rainy day and we made and drank the very good traditional coffe and enjoyed it while drawing with the wax. It was so much fun! Our teacher Hoang was extremely kind, and explained everything to us well. It was such a great atmosphere!
