Ceci est une experience de 8 heures a Phnom Penh. Elle est assuree par Cambodia Taxi Driver, un operateur avec qui nous reservons directement plutot que via un revendeur, ce qui nous permet de retenir votre place avant de considerer votre reservation comme definitive.
Tuol Sleng etait un college de Phnom Penh que les Khmers rouges ont transforme en prison de securite S-21 en 1975. Sur les quelque 12 000 a 20 000 personnes qui y furent detenues, une douzaine seulement survecurent. Les salles de classe conservent encore les chassis de lit en fer et les photographies que le regime prenait de chaque prisonnier a son arrivee. Choeung Ek, a environ 15 kilometres de la, est l'endroit ou la plupart furent emmenes pour etre tues, et son stupa conserve environ 5 000 cranes ; l'audioguide y est en partie narre par un survivant, ce qui permet a la plupart des visiteurs de tenir le coup. Les deux sites se visitent dans le calme, prennent environ une demi-journee ensemble, et ne conviennent pas aux jeunes enfants.

What an impressive day we had. Srey our personal guide told us the incredible stories about all the sites we’ve visited (umongsth the royal palace, killing fields, S-21 prison, pagode, market and french quarter). This was my first time visiting the Killing Fields and S-21 Prison, and honestly, I wasn't sure how to prepare myself emotionally beforehand. But meeting him transformed this visit into something truly unforgettable. His knowledge of Cambodian history is simply outstanding. A very interesting tour in Phnom Penh. Our guide, Lee, did everything to make an experience to remember. It was a great idea to take it early in the morning before the heat. We saw places where happened things that are difficult even to think about... it s an important tour for everybody to see what happened and Never repeat!
Chhim was an amazing guide, I was impressed by how much he knew about Cambodia history. I learned a lot. He was very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend him. He is a great guide anyone who is visiting Phnom Penh would be lucky to have him as his/her guide.
Excellent tour. I can’t recommend Lee’s tour highly enough. Lee was very knowledgeable about Cambodian culture and history, ancient and modern, and explained events very clearly. The tour was fantastic with visits to and explanations about the temple, the city and Royal palace. Choice of lunch place was great. The evil history of the Khmer Rouge was complicated and Lee presented the history professionally. We visited places of the darkest history in Cambodia at the end of the day and that was appropriate so I could return to the hotel quietly. Timing of places visited was great, the vehicle an
L'excursion était fort intéressante pour découvrir les principales attractions de la ville et pour apprendre à connaître la culture et l'histoire du pays. Le guide était excellent (Chhim Chhuley) et très sympathique. Il était très cultivé et connaissait très bien l'histoire de son pays. Il a été à l'écoute de mes désirs et de mes besoins (arrêts pour visites, choix du restauranf, pause, etc). Je vous le recommande fortement. J'ai adoré ma journée. N'hésitez donc pas pour réserver cette excursion en souhaitant que vous tombiez sur Chhim. 5 *
Wow what a day. Saw so much and learnt so much about the history of Cambodia. Had a tour around the city first and saw all the major sites and monuments. Visited the palace and amazing hilltop pagoda. Then on to Killing Field and museum, very sad history. Chhunly our guide had an amazing knowledge everywhere we went. He offered to take us wherever we wanted to go. Plenty of water throughout trip. Great tour, value for money. Note, tour doesn’t include entry fees as you can select where you wanted to go with this guided tour.
