After reading all the positive reviews, my expectations were high. But I ended up profoundly disappointed. I could only understand roughly half of what the guide was saying, his English was just not good for someone who’s a tour guide. I would have been better off taking a taxi to the Killing Fields and S21 and renting the audio guides, which others were telling me are wonderful. It would have been much cheaper and I would have learned so much more. What’s more, the guide kept excusing himself to use the bathroom multiple times in the two hours we were together.
