Angkor Wat a ete construit dans la premiere moitie du 12e siecle par Suryavarman II comme temple hindou dedie a Vishnu, plus tard converti a l'usage bouddhiste, et c'est le plus grand monument religieux au monde avec environ 162 hectares a l'interieur de ses fosses. Contrairement a presque tous les autres temples khmers, il fait face a l'ouest. La galerie exterieure porte environ 600 metres de bas-reliefs, dont le Barattage de la Mer de Lait, et les tours centrales representent le mont Meru. Le niveau superieur impose un code vestimentaire reellement applique : epaules et genoux couverts, pas de debardeurs, sous peine d'etre refoule a l'escalier. Un Angkor Pass est requis et coute 37 USD pour un jour, 62 pour trois et 72 pour sept, vendu uniquement via Angkor Enterprise ; les moins de 12 ans entrent gratuitement sur presentation d'un passeport.

The tour with Pal Sauron was amazing. It was such a complete experience, his explanations were great, he always gave us enough water and refreshments, besides taking the best pictures ever. I felt like I was in the Khmer period during this tour, which is the best one I did in Southeast Asia.

We had an amazing two-day Angkor tour and can highly recommend it! The organization was excellent from start to finish. Everything was well planned, and the timing allowed us to experience the temples without feeling rushed. Our guides Mr. Sokpee and Mr. Pal Saruon were very knowledgeable and shared interesting insights about the history, culture, and symbolism of the temples, which made the experience much more meaningful. Absolutely amazing 2 day trip around the temples, some incredible place I never would have gone too, Pal was an excellent, very knowledgeable and interesting to speak also shout out to Vrak who was a great driver and supplies endless water 😃
It was very professionally conducted and our guide PAL SARUON was extremely knowledgeable also. Gave ample time at all the places.. The driver VERAK was also very sweet and polite.
I really enjoyed the tour. I saw both sunrise and sunset. The guide Mr. Pheap Rath was attentive and patient. He waited for me after sunset and always informed me by phone where he was, because there were a lot of people and I could get confused and go the wrong way. Pheap Rath always showed me the best places to photograph the sunrise. He took pictures of each of us separately and the whole small group of 4-5 people together and sent the photos to everyone on WhatsApp after the tour.
This tour exceeded my expectations. Our guides Bun and Sam, plus our driver Vireak were excellent, and gave us a really good comprehensive overview of the temples and history of the Angkor empire. Vireak greeted us with an ice cold bottle of water and cold towels as we returned from of our temple tours, and drove us around some quite rough roads with skill and ease. Bun and Sam were excellent guides, making sure we saw the best of each temple and giving us adequate free time to explore afterwards. The sunset was amazing, we arrived in time to grab a good spot, and the sunrise was unbelievable.
Paul and the driver Naro were great hosts! I learned a lot about Cambodian, Hindu and Buddhist history. Paul was very friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to answer questions. He also took a lot of pictures of us - professional photographer :D If you come to Siem Reap and are looking for a great tour in the Angkor Temple area, I highly recommend this 2-day tour.
Our visit to Angkor Wat and several surrounding temples was a very special experience. We had originally booked a two-day tour, but unfortunately we became ill beforehand and were only able to join for one day. The team was extremely understanding and even offered us the opportunity to make up the second day. Sadly, we didn’t have enough time left in Siem Reap to reschedule, but we truly appreciated the flexibility and kindness. Our guide, Bun, shared a lot of interesting background information in a clear and engaging way, which helped us better understand the history and meaning of the temple
