Description complète
Un circuit d'une journee complete au depart de Siem Reap qui passe par Krong Battambang.
Battambang est la deuxieme ville du Cambodge et la plus paisible, une ville au bord du fleuve bordee de maisons de style francais, a environ trois heures de Siem Reap. Le train de bambou, le norry, est une plateforme de bambou sur roues entrainee par un petit moteur sur une voie unique ; quand deux se croisent, le plus leger est souleve des rails a la main. La ligne d'origine a O Dambong a ete remplacee par une voie touristique dediee a Banan. Au crepuscule, des millions de chauves-souris a levres ridees jaillissent d'une grotte de falaise a Phnom Sampeau pendant environ une demi-heure en un ruban ininterrompu, et la meme colline porte un memorial des grottes de la mort des annees Khmers rouges.

Vatthana was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide - we had a brilliant afternoon with him discovering Battambang and getting to see the many bars leaving the cave. If you’re looking to do a tour with anybody then I would highly recommend him!

The day trip was absolutely amazing. Jay our driver and guide could not have been better He has so much information to share and was also a lot of fun. We ran out of cash and yet Jay still organised and paid for our food until we got to a cash machine in the city. Thank you Jay for making our day trip with you one of the best. amazing time with our guide J. his english was flawless, and he filled the tour with humour, personal experience, and great knowledge. i really liked the history overview he gave us, providing us with all the information and answering all our questions. we were able to see all the great sights of Battambang, and he timed it so well too. i really recommend this tour. they are not as well known as other tours in the area but just as good, if not better. it was just us two on the tour which made the experience so incredible and unforgettable. thanks!

A fantastic way to know Battambang, its surroundings and name’s origin. A 10/10 to our guide who explained everything clearly and took us all day to the places we have to see in his confortable tuk tuk. I will recommend him to everyone who comes to Cambodia.
We had a great half day tour in Battambang and really enjoyed the whole experience. Everything was very well organized and structured, but at the same time flexible and relaxed. We were picked up by tuk-tuk and first learned about the history of the city. Then we drove through local villages, learned about fruits and vegetation, crossed a hanging bridge, enjoyed the bamboo train and even tried local specialties. Visiting the caves and watching the bats fly out was definitely a highlight. Our guide was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We can absolutely recommend this tour to anyo

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon trip with Vatthana, he is a really safe driver and very knowledgable about the local area. The ride on the bamboo train was a bit of a tourist trap at the end of the line with people pushing to sell souvenirs but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless. Watching the bats leave the cave at dusk was a real highlight for me and a perfect end to the day.
