Le lever du soleil a Angkor Wat se regarde depuis le bord du bassin reflechissant nord, ou les cinq tours se detachent en noir contre le ciel puis se dedoublent dans l'eau. Le guichet ouvre a 04h30 et Angkor Wat laisse entrer les visiteurs a partir de 05h00, c'est pourquoi les tours partent de Siem Reap vers 04h30 pour vingt minutes de route ; le ciel se colore avant que le soleil ne depasse les tours, donc arriver aux premieres lueurs est deja tardif pour le meilleur moment. La saison seche de novembre a mars offre les ciels les plus purs, tandis que les pluies apportent des nuages qui peuvent soit gacher le lever du soleil soit le sublimer. Le bord du bassin se remplit tot, le bassin sud est generalement plus calme, et un guide qui sait de quel cote se placer fait la difference entre une photo et un mur de telephones leves.

It was amazing experience! Indra is great driver and personality, kind and care. Indra contacted us day before to ensure hassle free experience. 4:45 sharp was at the lobby. We were driven to ticket office and since then carefully guided step by step on where to go and what to do. Indra was an absolutely amazing driver and guide. He took us right to the front of every temple, gave us background information about the temple before we went into each one and was promptly waiting for us at the exit of each one (usually without me even having to text him to let him know we were ready!!). He also gave us lots of waters throughout the day to make sure we stayed hydrated. I highly recommend him for anyone wanting to do a self-paced tour of the temples!!
We had a fantastic day on our tour with Indra! He provided us with so much interesting information about each of our stops and gave us plenty of time to explore. As I’ve already been to Angkor Wat with a tour. So I wanted to explore the temples by myself and take some pictures. To book the tour with Indra was the right decision. As I had enough time to explore each temple not in a hurry. When I mentioned that I’ve already seen main temples Indra suggested to visit smaller one but still beautiful. Suggested spots for better pictures. He was polite and pleasant to talk to. Indra (the driver) was lovely, communication ahead of the tour was smooth, very good English and he was very professional, he picked me up from the hotel and he toured me around. He showed me a lot of temples, told me information about each of them before visiting. He waited for me with cold water every time I finished. He was really lovely, professional and I spent a wonderful day touring the Angkor temples, he really made effort to turn the experience into an amazing one. I highly recommend him.
The tour was exceptional. Our guide whose name is can't remember was very good and very helpful and friendly 😀. Taking the Tuk Tuk was great because you just sit and take in the sights.I would recommend this to anyone 😀.
