Ceci est une experience de 2 jours a Siem Reap, construite autour de Witness the Sunrise at Angkor Wat Temple et Experience Rural Countryside life and Ta Prohm Jungle Temple Exploration. Angkor Wat a ete construit dans la premiere moitie du 12e siecle par Suryavarman II comme temple hindou dedie a Vishnu, plus tard converti a l'usage bouddhiste, et c'est le plus grand monument religieux au monde avec environ 162 hectares a l'interieur de ses fosses. Contrairement a presque tous les autres temples khmers, il fait face a l'ouest. La galerie exterieure porte environ 600 metres de bas-reliefs, dont le Barattage de la Mer de Lait, et les tours centrales representent le mont Meru. Le niveau superieur impose un code vestimentaire reellement applique : epaules et genoux couverts, pas de debardeurs, sous peine d'etre refoule a l'escalier. Un Angkor Pass est requis et coute 37 USD pour un jour, 62 pour trois et 72 pour sept, vendu uniquement via Angkor Enterprise ; les moins de 12 ans entrent gratuitement sur presentation d'un passeport.

Our guide, Mr. Sam, made the experience incredible, providing information at every moment. His kindness, respect, and friendliness made us feel very comfortable. A great 2 day out with an amazing tour guide Seila, who took his time to show, explain the various locations visited together with background info as we travelled. Starting with an amazing sunrise above Angkor Wat and finishing off day with sunset over Tonle Sep. It between was fully packed but a relaxed pace, with early start on Day 1 for unbelieveable sunrise over Angkor Wat followed by visiting Angkor Thom, Bayon, and Ta Prohm with mid-morning meal at local restaurant having a good selection to suit all tastes. I really enjoyed my 2 days trip. It was slightly modified. The office proposed me sightseeing on the first day Angkor Wat and other temples and second day to swap with their tour to Kulen Mountains, waterfall, temple, floating village etc. It was a nice combination. My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing amazing moments during a 2-day tour including a small circuit with Ankor Wat temple and also the big circuit at other temples (group tour) organized by Breksa Travel. We interacted with Mr. Reaksa, who supported us before and during the trip. In a word- transformative. Not only were the temples absolutely beautiful, particularly angkor wat, but our tour guide (Youk Makara) was outstanding. He was very friendly, spoke very good English, and above all he was incredibly knowledgeable about the temples, what the inscriptions meant and he knew his way around a camera! Loved every bit of it! While definitely tiring, it was a rewarding experience to immerse myself in Cambodia's culture and learn its history. Mr. Sam was an amazing tour guide who clearly loves his job and is proud to showcase the beauty of Cambodia! It was definitely worth the price. Love the little things too like the palm cake stop and cold towel after each stop. Highly recommended-- this is a must!
