Un circuit d'une journee complete au depart de Siem Reap qui passe par Krong Siem Reap, Angkor Wat et Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm Temple.
Angkor Wat a ete construit dans la premiere moitie du 12e siecle par Suryavarman II comme temple hindou dedie a Vishnu, plus tard converti a l'usage bouddhiste, et c'est le plus grand monument religieux au monde avec environ 162 hectares a l'interieur de ses fosses. Contrairement a presque tous les autres temples khmers, il fait face a l'ouest. La galerie exterieure porte environ 600 metres de bas-reliefs, dont le Barattage de la Mer de Lait, et les tours centrales representent le mont Meru. Le niveau superieur impose un code vestimentaire reellement applique : epaules et genoux couverts, pas de debardeurs, sous peine d'etre refoule a l'escalier. Un Angkor Pass est requis et coute 37 USD pour un jour, 62 pour trois et 72 pour sept, vendu uniquement via Angkor Enterprise ; les moins de 12 ans entrent gratuitement sur presentation d'un passeport.
Le prix comprend inclusions, prise en charge et retour a l'hotel et eau potable. Il ne comprend pas exclusion, assurance voyage et billets pour les temples, a prevoir en plus. Chuop and the driver both provided me with an excellent tour of the main temples in Angkor Wat. Choup was full of background knowledge of the sites visited and was also happy to answer questions and chat about more general aspects of life in Cambodia. I was also given some time to wander around by myself and soak in the stunning scenery around me. On returning to the van after each temple visit, the driver was always waiting with a cold face towel, iced water and a smiling face. We did a private three temple-tour with Don and enjoyed every second of it. He is very friendly, knows a lot about the history of the Angkor Wat complex and speaks English very well. We got some nice extras from the driver as well, such as cooled water and cooled towels (which came in super handy, cause it can get quite hot in the morning!).
We took a private day tour with Mr Thom San. He was very informative and passionate about Angkor Wat and Khmer history. We had a very fun day and felt well taken care of. We were provided with excellent transport, cool water, and wet towels to refresh ourselves with. The tour is great value as it adds a lot of context and interesting stories to your visit. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Angkor Wat.

Trotz 38 Grad hatten wir eine gute Zeit mit unserem deutschsprachigen Guide Trophy. Man spürte seine Leidenschaft für die Geschichte der Khmer und er hat die Führung spannend gestaltet - auch für die Kinder (8 und 11 Jahre alt).
