Un circuit d'une journee complete au depart de Siem Reap qui passe par Krong Battambang.
Battambang est la deuxieme ville du Cambodge et la plus paisible, une ville au bord du fleuve bordee de maisons de style francais, a environ trois heures de Siem Reap. Le train de bambou, le norry, est une plateforme de bambou sur roues entrainee par un petit moteur sur une voie unique ; quand deux se croisent, le plus leger est souleve des rails a la main. La ligne d'origine a O Dambong a ete remplacee par une voie touristique dediee a Banan. Au crepuscule, des millions de chauves-souris a levres ridees jaillissent d'une grotte de falaise a Phnom Sampeau pendant environ une demi-heure en un ruban ininterrompu, et la meme colline porte un memorial des grottes de la mort des annees Khmers rouges.
Le prix comprend prise en charge et retour a l'hotel, transport en tuk-tuk et chauffeur et guide. Very interesting tour with Kim the guide who was very knowledgeable and really passionate about Battambang’s history.
Kim was phenomenal! He was a joy to be around and a very accommodating host. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia. We loved every minute of this tour! There were so many stops along the way that made the tour even better. His English was excellent. He made our tour very comfortable and enjoyable.

Value for money is a great tour, we made a few stops to try some of the local food and thatw as great. It's a very cultural tour and encompasses a great variety of things. Kim (our tourguide) was great. i was very happy with the info and knowledge he provided. I would highly recommend.

I am very happy with this tour. Kim picked me up on time from my accommodation in a tuk-tuk. Right at the beginning, he gave us a introduction to Battambang, its history, and how the town got its name. One of our first stops was the Bamboo Train, which was really fun! Throughout the trip, Kim spontaneously stopped whenever there was something interesting to see. He showed us local fruits growing along the roadside, stopped at a traditional stone carver's place to show us their craft, and even bought us peanuts at a local market. At the Killing Caves, Kim provided deep insights into the history
Kim was very helpful, cheerfully and knowledgeable. Thru him we got a better understanding of the political landscape thru his family history in a perfect English. Very interesting! Also he knew a great spot for the Batcave with an incredible view. Can only recommend him, truly a gem.

I could not recommend this tour enough, David was brilliant and did more than listed on the booking. Like taking us to try local food, showing us the markets and giving us extensive history throughout (all without any extra charge or the expectation that we was going to have to pay more at the end). This was by far one of the best tours we have done since traveling south east Asia!
David’s tour was the highlight of our trip to Cambodia, we enjoyed it so much that we made plans to meet him a second time while staying in Battambang. I could not recommend his tour enough, not only will he bring you to the main attractions and historical sights, he will give a cultural context through his storytelling and history that cannot be obtained from a book or the internet. His tour is personal and full of heart, he really means what he says and truly wants to share his culture with others!
