Un circuit de 2,5 heures au depart de Siem Reap qui passe par Siem Reap Province and Transfer.
Le Tonle Sap est le plus grand lac d'eau douce d'Asie du Sud-Est et il inverse son sens deux fois par an : pendant la mousson, le Mekong repousse l'eau vers le fleuve Tonle Sap et le lac gonfle plusieurs fois sa taille, puis se vide a nouveau a partir de novembre environ. Les villages qui y vivent font avec. Les maisons sur pilotis de Kampong Phluk se dressent de six a dix metres sur leurs pieds, seches en dessous en mars et a hauteur de marche en octobre ; Kampong Khleang est plus grand, plus eloigne et bien moins visite ; Chong Kneas est le plus proche de Siem Reap et le plus touristique. Quel village convient, et si le bateau peut meme atteindre la foret inondee, depend entierement du mois.

Onze gids, Phally was erg goed. Sprak goed Engels en legde alles goed uit. Het dorp is erg bijzonder. Omdat het water peil laag is kunnen wij er door heen lopen. In het regenseizoen ga je met de boot door het dorp. Een excursie die je zeker niet mag missen!
An amazing tour. The guide spoke excellent English and taught me a lot about Cambodian history, and was very informative and warm. He is a very kind, friendly and genuine man. The car is very nice and he gave me a water. I really enjoyed this private tour and I cannot recommend it more! It was really cool to see the floating village and its economy up close, and you get a depth that you would not get if you did a shared tour.
It was a very pleasant half day tour that included a visit to the fishermen’s village and lake and a short stop at a small crocodile farm. We were offered an additional trip in between the mangroves, that we decided to skip. The guide was friendly and talkative and really tried to show us the local life and culture. The driver was punctual and very careful.
Very knowledgeable local guide, friendly and open minded. He answered all our questions in really good English. It was fun for us to learn from him about Cambodia and Siem Reap area in a very small private group. We can only recommend. The way to and the floating village itself was an experience and adventure for me as somebody who lives in western Europe. Particularly, in the dry season you can see the hard life the people on the country side are still facing over here.
I highly recommend this trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the village itself but also the rich history and culture of Cambodia. Beautiful scenery and great insight into the lives of those who live in the village. Overall great addition to our trip.
The activity was good, but the whole place seems very staged and felt like a theme park at times, especially after visiting a different floating village which was much more authentic, the boat ride shorter than expected, went to floating restaurant on the lake with Crocodiles. That said the guide and driver were both excellent. only advice boat costs 22dollar PP not the 10 previously advertised on the booking. it was a nice trip out of the city.
Our guide was friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable about the region, the country, its people, and Cambodia in general. As we had booked a private tour, we could adapt the itinerary slightly to our needs. Kampong Phluk fishing village and the impressive Tonle Sap Lake are definitely worth seeing. However, the tour followed a strict schedule and often felt like being driven from one place to another mainly to spend money (shops, restaurants, donations). In the village, women frequently approached us to sell school supplies for children – a well-documented scam where notebooks are later ret
Wir hatten einen Fahrer und einen Guide, mit einem sehr komfortablen Van. Unser Guide war einfach großartig, er hat uns sehr viel über das Land und das Leben erzählt. Er war ein sehr aufmerksamer Guide. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten bewusst die private Tour gebucht. Es sehr empfehlenswert diese private Tour zu buchen, da man viel mehr Einblicke und Informationen erhält. Das Ticket für die Bootstour kostet p.P 20,00 Dollar. Der Guide ist mit uns im Boot mitgefahren und gat uns dann zum Stelzendorf gebracht und sehr viel über das Leben im Dorf erklärt. Danach geh
