Ceci est une experience de 4 heures au depart de Siem Reap, construite autour de River boat. Le Tonle Sap est le plus grand lac d'eau douce d'Asie du Sud-Est et il inverse son sens deux fois par an : pendant la mousson, le Mekong repousse l'eau vers le fleuve Tonle Sap et le lac gonfle plusieurs fois sa taille, puis se vide a nouveau a partir de novembre environ. Les villages qui y vivent font avec. Les maisons sur pilotis de Kampong Phluk se dressent de six a dix metres sur leurs pieds, seches en dessous en mars et a hauteur de marche en octobre ; Kampong Khleang est plus grand, plus eloigne et bien moins visite ; Chong Kneas est le plus proche de Siem Reap et le plus touristique. Quel village convient, et si le bateau peut meme atteindre la foret inondee, depend entierement du mois.

Our guide was Ry Sareth. Communication before the tour was excellent. We were collected from our hotel. & taken to a cafe where other guests joined us. Then by aircon bus to a village on the side of the lake, a walk through, then a drive to out boat departure point. Approx 12 in our group. The lake cruise was good & we stopped at a floating cafe/shop before heading back to the boat departure point, then aircon bus dropping each guest at their hotels. A worthwhile tour & Ry Sareth was a good guide. Recommended.
It was genuinely fantastic, our tour guide sailor had an answer for everything from the floating village to the temples and how they make silk from the lotus flower. Honestly such a fun day highly recommend this tour.

This is a sunset tour of the floating village. Overall great experience seeing how the fishing village operates.
The tour was very well organized. We were contacted about the pick up time and location before the tour. Our guide was a very nice gentleman with excellent communication skills. The floating village is an amazing place to see. The river motorboat tour was awesome; however, the return part of the tour was cut short. The scenery on the right side during the outbound journey was more impressive, and since I was seated on the left side of the motorboat, I hadn’t recorded enough footage, thinking that I would see it on the way back. Trasposto eccellente e tutto si è svolto nei tempi previsti. La guida Ry è semplicemente incredibile. Parla inglese molto bene, ti spiega moltissime cose sulla cultura, usi, abitudini… molto aperto al dialogo, persona molto socievole che mi ha dato consigli per il mio viaggio, a prescindere dal tour che stavamo facendo. Molto bella e interessante la visitiamo ad un vero mercato e molto bella anche la visita al villaggio, nella stagione secca sicuramente non rende bene l’idea ma vale assolutamente la pena di venirci anche per aiutare la comunità.
