Ceci est une experience de 3 heures a Siem Reap. Elle est assuree par Devi Theater Restaurant, un operateur avec qui nous reservons directement plutot que via un revendeur, ce qui nous permet de retenir votre place avant de considerer votre reservation comme definitive.
La danse apsara tire son nom et ses poses des danseuses celestes sculptees par milliers sur les murs d'Angkor, et la forme classique fut reconstruite apres les annees des Khmers rouges a partir de la poignee de professeurs survivants. Les positions des mains forment un vocabulaire fixe, chacune portant un sens, et les doigts d'une danseuse entrainee se plient en arriere bien plus loin qu'il ne parait possible, car l'entrainement commence dans l'enfance. La plupart des spectacles de Siem Reap sont accompagnes d'un buffet ; les representations serieuses sont plus courtes et vendues separement. Phare, le cirque cambodgien, est une chose totalement differente, une ecole de Battambang qui accueille des enfants issus de milieux difficiles et met en scene un theatre acrobatique moderne sur la vie cambodgienne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Devi Theatre Apsara Show. From the greeting on our arrival by some of the performers, the warm reception by the hosts, and attentive service from the wait staff, everything was top notch. All the tables face the stage so there is a good view of the dance performances. Several different dances were performed and the costumes they wore were magnificent! I would highly recommend this show for a wonderful evening out in Siem Reap!

This was truly the best moment of my time in Siem Reap. The theatre is newly established this year, and everything about the experience was outstanding: the dancers are incredibly talented, the live band is excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is warm and professional. Because the theatre is still not widely known yet, it was easy to get front-row seats, which made the performance even more special and immersive.
We had an absolutely wonderful evening at the Devi Theatre Apsara Show in Siem Reap. From start to finish, everything was simply perfect. By far one of our favourite nights in Siem Reap. The people, the dances, and the food were wonderful! This is a must do activity while in the area. Special shout out to our two servers, they made the whole experience enjoyable and happy!
