Ceci est une experience de 7 heures au depart de Ubud, construite autour de Mount Batur and Hot spring. Votre place est retenue avec l'operateur avant que nous ne considerions votre reservation comme definitive.
Le mont Batur est un volcan actif de 1 717 metres qui se dresse a l'interieur d'une caldeira bien plus ancienne, avec le lac Batur au fond de celle-ci. Les treks au lever du soleil partent de Toya Bungkah, sur la rive du lac, montent pendant environ deux heures sur du sable volcanique et des pierres instables, et visent a atteindre le bord vers 5h30, car le soleil se leve entre 6h00 et 6h30 selon le mois, derriere le cone du mont Agung a l'est. Au sommet, avant l'aube, il fait regulierement entre 8 et 12 degres C avec du vent, si bien qu'une veste bien chaude importe plus que tout le reste de votre equipement. Les treks sont organises via l'association du village local, c'est pourquoi chaque circuit, le notre inclus, est accompagne d'un guide, et la plupart des matinees se terminent aux sources chaudes sur la rive du lac. Les versions en jeep ou en ATV roulent jusqu'a un point de vue sur le flanc du volcan pour le meme lever du soleil et evitent la montee a pied, ce qui est le bon choix pour les genoux, les jeunes enfants et quiconque n'a pas assez dormi. Pendant la saison des pluies, de novembre a mars, le sommet est souvent dans les nuages a l'aube et il n'y a pas de remboursement pour cause de meteo.

Great morning hiking up an active volcano! Nova was a great guide helping us find the best routes and taking plenty of water breaks. He was very chatty and friendly throughout the walk! Also cooked us up a lovely breakfast at the top of the volcano! Thanks Nova! Suas (our driver) was always punctual and very welcoming. He explained all activities in depth and was very friendly. He was a smooth driver and a really nice person. We would definitely recommend Suas to anyone. Amazing day overall!
We lived 1hr 30mins away from destination and Ronaldo our amazing driver picked us up right on time in the morning and was a funny and kind man. He would guide us through some history and local knowledge on the way to the mountain where we met our hiking guide lytia she was lovely as she helped us through the tracks and let us take stops when needed and never made anyone feel uncomfortable for stopping. Halfway up the mountain there are options to take a bike to the top if you need it. Ronaldo was very accomodating when dropping us to our resorts and when falling asleep he turned the music off
The pick ups were easy. Guides were good communicators for the walk up. It was crazy windy up there, make sure you have sunglasses or similar as the ash whips around everywhere can make it hard to watch the sunrise but it was a beautiful view
One of the best experiences in Bali! Our driver Ismail offered us the most comfortable ride. He is such a good driver. Our guide Adi was the best. Adi is one of the reasons we loved this hike so much. I want to thank them both. And also the hot spring after the hike was soooo relaxing. We loved every moment of this tour.
Our driver Katek was incredible! He is THE BEST PERSON in BALI I swear! He is so nice, kind and helpful. I loved all the interesting information about indonesian tradition and way of living he told us while we were driving. The hike was definitely challenging on the way up, but we stoped to rest good amount of times and finally maid it! Wishing all the best in life to Katek, he is special✨!
Very good experience, driver Jero ayan was a very nice friendly man, very comfortable journey, good driving and nice conversation. Very good. The mountain guide was a very nice lady, very friendly and patient and made sure we were very safe. Food was very good. Very happy with the experience 😊🙏
Great day. The sunrise view was amazing. Nice photos with the Indonesian flag at the top of mount batur. The hike was easier than expected. Head torch provided but i came with an extra torch and was useful. Hot springs were very relaxing and well needed after all the walking. Coffee plantation was okay. Expect a 10 hour day and thats for someone being collected in central ubud
Amazing trip!! Our driver, Ronald, is one of the best of all time. He's not only a good driver and knowledgeable on the area's history, but he's got a great personality and sense of humor! He made the long drive go by quickly, especially with his fun music choices. Our hike guide, Katur, was also excellent and kind! I'd highly recommend this experience
We were actually very blown away by the whole experience. Our driver was lovely and patient and helped when we got lost during pick up. Then our guide up the volcano Guday (I’m sorry I can’t spell his name) was AMAZING. He was so kind and funny and built team spirit between our little group. He was knowledgeable and funny and got us motivated by singing Adele with us during our hike to the top. Our banana sandwiches were the cherry on top! Our hiking guide told us he does the sunrise walk daily, it was truly inspiring to see how hard they work and still all with a smile on their faces. Thankyo
Our Trip was amazing! Our driver Gede was very polite and friendly. He was on time and drove us safely to Mount Batur. He told us about the mountain and explained everything. The tour was absolutely wonderful! It’s true that you have to wake up very early, but it was completely worth it. We’d also like to give a special mention to our driver, Ismael, who was fantastic, and especially to our guide, Mr. Sar, who was excellent. He took us along a route that allowed us to avoid the crowds as much as possible, and he went above and beyond to make the experience special. He took amazing photos and videos of us much better than we ever expected! Mr. Sar was incredibly friendly, attentive, and had such a great attitude throughout the entire tour. Had an incredible day! Ismail was our driver and he made the whole day so smooth—he picked us up right on time, drove us safely to the Mt. Batur trail, then took us over to the hot springs, the coffee plantation, and back to our hotel. Our guide KAM took us up the volcano for the sunrise hike, and he was fantastic—super encouraging, knowledgeable, and kept a great pace. Couldn’t have asked for a better team. 10/10 recommend!
