Ceci est une experience de 8 heures au depart de Ubud, construite autour de Tegenungan Waterfall et Elephant Cave and Tegallalang. Votre place est retenue avec l'operateur avant que nous ne considerions votre reservation comme definitive.
Les rizieres en terrasses de Tegallalang se trouvent a vingt minutes au nord d'Ubud sur la route de Kintamani, et ce sont de veritables rizieres irriguees par le systeme subak, classe par l'UNESCO en 2012. Avant environ 8h30 le matin, la vallee appartient aux agriculteurs, les rizieres sont encore humides de la nuit, et il fait assez frais pour marcher a travers les terrasses et remonter de l'autre cote. Vers dix heures, les cars venus du sud arrivent et la route au-dessus des terrasses devient une succession de cafes, de balancoires et de plateformes photo. Il y a un petit droit d'entree au point de vue, et des agriculteurs le long des sentiers a travers les champs demandent quelques milliers de roupies pour traverser leur terrain, ce qui est normal. Les balancoires sont des commerces independants avec leurs propres tarifs.

Il ne comprend pas Dejeuner et pourboires recommandes, a prevoir en plus. I had a fantastic trip with Made. He is a great driver, very helpful and explained me a lot of things while we were driving around Ubud. He also ensured that we visited the different places at times where they are not that crowded. Very special was the rice terrace in Tegalalang which had some amazing views. I also visited the Tirta Empul temple and did the cleansing ritual. A very unique experience! (There are a lot of guides around which take photos of you, which you can buy after the ritual.) The tour is very flexible, so most of the time you can explore the places at your own pace and take

Wayan was a superstar! We loved our day with him. starting with prompt pick up from our hotel at 8am it was non-stop sightseeing and learning from Wayan about the beautiful Balinese culture and traditions. Not only did Wayan share lots of helpful information, he also took great photographs and went out of his way to get us back to our hotel on time on the dot for our evening plans. As well as the described tour, we also managed to do the water purification and stopped by a coffee / tea / honey tasting. Thanks Wayan!
Had a fabulous day out. Our driver Gede Susila was a perfect host - very knowledgeable. He answered our questions competently and confidently. We visited a range of sites but the temples were by far the most interesting especially as Gede could explain everything and more to us. Thoroughly recommend.
